LUXURY&PRECISION 10th Anniversary "E7 Exclusive Module" Roadmap

The ten years from 2014 to 2024 have passed in the blink of an eye. From the very beginning, LUXURY&PRECISION has been both our brand name and our vision: to pursue precision and strive for the ultimate. All our products are built on this vision.
We have always believed that equipment is a byproduct in the process of exploring moving music, and no matter how excellent the materials used, it ultimately exists as a result of achieving "good sound." Looking back at the past 10 years, although we haven't produced many products, we have always focused on creating the highest quality products. We constantly push new boundaries and seek ways for our products to deliver more musical joy to listeners. As we celebrate our first decade, we continue to uphold our deep respect for music and our philosophy of exploration.

[E7 Exclusive Module Development Roadmap]
The E7's distinguishing feature is the cost reduction achieved through its interchangeable E7 exclusive modules. The uniqueness, diverse ecosystem, and complementarity of each module are at the core of the E7. After the release of the "E7 4497," equipped with the first dual AK4497 module, users have been eagerly anticipating what the next module would be.
We are announcing it with the inauguration of our 10th anniversary. The E7's second exclusive module will feature Analog Devices' AD1955 DAC chip.

While the AD1955 has been adopted in home audio equipment, this might be its first time being installed in a portable player. It is particularly ideal for portable devices that cannot accommodate OCXOs due to size and power consumption constraints. The reason we chose this chip is its characteristic "Perfect Differential Linearity Recovery," which achieves low noise and is extremely resistant to jitter. Simply put, PDLR means that the DAC chip maintains very accurate linearity when converting digital signals to analog signals. In general DACs, errors are prone to occur, especially at small signal levels, which can lead to degradation of sound quality. However, the AD1955 minimizes these errors by using differential signal processing technology, achieving very high-precision linearity. In differential signal processing, common-mode components (components that cause noise and distortion) are canceled out, and only differential components (actual signals) are extracted, thereby enhancing the purity of the signal. Through this approach, the AD1955 reduces the noise floor to the absolute minimum, achieving a very clean signal output and transparent, pure sound quality. Furthermore, its high jitter immunity reduces sound quality degradation due to time-axis fluctuations. This ensures that musical details are reproduced vividly, providing listeners with a new musical experience.

From a sound quality perspective, the AD1955 offers a very appealing tone and sophisticated sound. Analog Devices (ADI), a top company holding about two-thirds of the DAC market share, is a world-leading semiconductor manufacturer, particularly known for its innovative technology in analog signal processing. Due to the small size and low profitability of the audio DAC market, ADI had not released a high-end DAC for nearly 20 years after the AD1955. We hope that by releasing the AD1955 module compatible with E7, you will experience ADI's true capabilities in HiFi audio DACs.

We are also announcing our planned future modules.

The 1st module is the AK4497, the 2nd module is the AD1955, and the 3rd module is the PCM1794A (※The adoption of PCM1792A was announced on July 23, 2025). This Burr-Brown DAC is familiar to many audiophiles. It is the flagship of the SD architecture provided by TI in the HiFi audio field, and the E7 allows you to enjoy diverse sound qualities through the combination of these three modules and innovative functions.
