NiPO has focused on the fact that sound quality-conscious users who use DAP products demand the convenience and operability of smartphones, and that users who use dongle-type DACs feel issues with noise, power consumption, driving power, and connection stability. This model is not a multi-type audio product, but an evolution of the easily handled MagSafe compatible DAC AMP style, which achieves the uncompromising high sound quality established with the A100. By incorporating an independent power supply, low-noise clock, high-output amplifier, current mirror I/V conversion, and RF anti-interference design into an integrated structure that can be attached to the back of a smartphone, it transforms a smartphone into a dedicated music player. This is not a product designed to overly alter sound, but an audio device intended to purely bring out the inherent information and expressive power of sound sources, earphones, and headphones. The A200PRO DAC AMP, designed to be attached to the back of a smartphone, aims to deliver uncompromised music playback even when used at an extremely close distance of approximately 1mm from the antenna. RF signals radiated from the smartphone during streaming or calls can enter the internal circuitry via the USB data cable and earphone cable, potentially affecting the S/N ratio, background quietness, and clarity of subtle sounds. To address this, NiPO not only conducted verification using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and microwave anechoic chambers but also incorporated the expertise of experienced professional RF engineers. They pursued not only the addition of filter elements but also measurement in the RF band, component selection, board layout, and mounting position. However, since suppressing interference too strongly can degrade the smoothness of the sound, its lingering qualities, and the naturalness of the effective signal, the A200PRO compared and verified over 20 types of magnetic beads to achieve a balance between interference immunity, background quietness, and the freshness of the music signal, selecting a model that excels in both sound quality and interference immunity. Furthermore, it employs isolation and CLC multi-filtering technology in the headphone output section, achieving attenuation performance of up to 55dB in the 0.8GHz to 5GHz RF band, assuming multiple 4G/5G frequency bands. This design, which balances convenience and high purity, delivers natural resolution and smoothness that can only be experienced with such a design.

While the ESS ES9039Q2M adopted in the A100 emphasizes clarity and speed, the A200PRO is tuned for a different sound direction, prioritizing a smooth and natural texture, musical richness, and beautiful decay. While maintaining high resolution, it carefully renders the texture of vocals and string instruments, spatial depth, the fade-out of sounds, and deep, extended bass. To achieve NiPO's neutral and natural reproduction with even more faithful musical expression, the A200PRO incorporates AKM's AK4497SVQ DAC. By combining it with CMMT current mirror I/V conversion, a low-phase noise clock, and independent power supply design, the AK4497SVQ's information is extracted directly and with high precision without loss, realizing the smooth playback characteristic of the A200PRO.
Improved CMMT Current Mirror I/V Conversion: Maximizing the AK4497SVQ's Current Output
Based on the technology cultivated in the flagship DAP "N2", it adopts an improved current mirror circuit with a fully discrete configuration. In general I/V conversion, the current output of the DAC is converted into voltage by an operational amplifier and transmitted to the subsequent stage, but the conversion process and circuit configuration affect the density and amount of information in the sound, as well as the reproducibility of minute signals. NiPO's unique CMMT, an I/V conversion technology that handles current signals output from the DAC with high precision, aims to transmit the maximum 5mA current output from the DAC AK4497SVQ in a pure state by directly passing it through a fully discrete current mirror circuit. This unit, which pursues natural sound production with minimal coloration, features an improved current module that significantly enhances noise characteristics and linearity, in addition to a completely non-feedback configuration for the entire circuit. This allows it to achieve high information content, sound density, transparent soundstage, focused sound image, and natural reverberation without relying on excessive correction. It more faithfully portrays the subtle nuances contained in recordings.
Accusilicon AS318-Lite Low Phase Noise Clock Supports Timing Accuracy
In music playback, the clock is a crucial element that aligns the time axis of digital signals. The less fluctuation there is in the time axis, the more naturally the sound image's contours, localization, soundstage clarity, and subtle reverberations are reproduced. To fully unleash the performance of the Accusilicon AS318-Lite Series femtosecond-level low-phase-noise crystal oscillator adopted in the A200PRO, we thoroughly re-evaluated its operating environment, including power supply accuracy, temperature drift, noise on the circuit board, and electromagnetic interference. By combining multi-stage isolation and power purification technology through filtering, we significantly reduced interference from the power supply and surrounding circuits to the crystal oscillator. The design encompasses the entire environment required for stable clock operation. As a result, the on-board phase noise performance improved from the conventional -87.58dBc/Hz to -101.54dBc/Hz at 10Hz. This achieves a quieter background, enhanced resolution, refined soundstage expression, and accurate localization. The higher the quality of the sound source, the more easily you will perceive the effects as subtle reverberations, spatial depth, and the naturalness of musical attack.

In portable DAC/amps, driving power is a crucial factor that influences the scale and stability of the music. During the climax of a symphony, the strong attack of drums, or moments when the sound pressure of a large ensemble suddenly increases, ample output directly translates to low-frequency control, soundstage stability, and dynamic range extension. The A200PRO employs two SGM8262 chips, renowned for their excellent transient response and low noise performance, achieving a measured maximum output of 1620mW per channel into a 32Ω load. This delivers delicate, noise-free detail for high-sensitivity, low-impedance IEMs, and powerful driving force for high-impedance or inefficient headphones. Beyond just achieving high volume, it extracts the full potential of earphones and headphones, encompassing sound density, instantaneous control, and the ability to preserve subtle signals.
Power purification technology that supports faithful sound reproduction
Pursuing faithful sound reproduction also means confronting the power supply. The A200PRO not only delivers high output, but also meticulously focuses on the quality of the power supply that supports that output. It employs multiple 0.8μV class ultra-low noise power supplies to deliver clean power to each circuit. Furthermore, it is equipped with multiple ultra-low ESR military-grade tantalum capacitors from Panasonic and KEMET, which suppress power ripple and internal resistance. The boost power supply design, with a maximum conversion efficiency of 90%, supports long playback while stably driving the high-output amplifier. When combined with a battery with an internal resistance of 20mΩ, it suppresses power fluctuations even when large currents are required, bringing out the control of low frequencies and instantaneous dynamics. It provides a quiet background with an excellent S/N ratio, clear depiction of subtle sounds, and powerful expression through instantaneous current supply.

To naturally integrate your smartphone and DAC AMP and provide a comfortable, high-quality audio experience on the go, this product can be used even with smartphones or iPhone cases that do not support MagSafe, by attaching the included metal seal. Two types of metal sheets are included: O-shaped and C-shaped. This allows for a full-fledged portable audio environment that attaches to the back of your smartphone to be built with a wide range of devices.
Unobtrusive and smart dedicated dual L-shaped Type-C cable
NiPO has consistently focused on making products as beautiful and easy to use as possible, while ensuring sound quality. To achieve both high-speed USB signal transmission quality and ease of use in daily life, we have created a new custom-designed L-shaped Type-C cable from a new mold. This avoids the large protrusion of a straight connector when stacking a smartphone and the A200PRO, reducing interference during handheld use and transportation. It achieves a lightweight and natural handling suitable for a DAC AMP that attaches to the back of a smartphone. The cable interior employs an isolation and multi-layer shielding structure. By independently shielding the power line and USB signal transmission line, we ensure the stability of high-speed USB signals while reducing interference from RF signals. The conductor uses a 0.06 x 7 x 7 configuration, with a total of 49 strands of monocrystalline copper wire, enhancing the balance of flexibility, lightness, and signal transmission quality.
0.87-inch high-brightness OLED and various settings
The A200PRO features a 0.87-inch high-brightness OLED display. It allows real-time viewing of playback information and settings such as sampling rate, codec, and volume, and intuitive control over Low/Mid/High gain, 7 DAC filters, EQ modes (Pop, Classical, Jazz, Rock, Dance), line out, coaxial digital out, UAC mode, and more. Switchable between UAC2.0 high-quality audio mode and UAC1.0 compatible mode
The A200PRO supports dual protocol switching between UAC2.0 and UAC1.0. In UAC2.0 mode, the A200PRO provides stable USB audio input for high-resolution audio sources. Asynchronous clock transmission creates a playback environment less dependent on the clock accuracy of the connected device, suppressing the effects of clock jitter while more accurately reproducing the delicate dynamics and soundstage details of music.
