The "DPS-L2" combines nostalgia and novelty, reminiscent of the Japanese portable players that were all the rage worldwide several decades ago, while integrating modern technology.
The body, carefully crafted from aluminum alloy, achieves the high-quality texture of modern cutting-edge equipment. It features a mechanical switch structure reminiscent of cassette players of the time and a 2x2 way analog volume controller, achieving both a retro operating feel and original sound preservation. Furthermore, it supports modern needs with Hiby Link function, a MicroSD slot, and USB bidirectional data transfer function. The sound is focused on pursuing a natural and balanced musical style, and it will be produced in a limited edition of 999 units worldwide under strict quality control.

While reflecting respect for classic design, it integrates modern functionality and quality. The metal blue body uses an aluminum CNC shell to enhance durability and electromagnetic shielding.

・Mechanical Operating Feel reminiscent of 1979
The mechanism where pressing the play key starts music playback and the key remains locked until the stop key is pressed reproduces the operational feel of the analog era, allowing users to enjoy a unique tactile experience.

・Thorough Reproducibility
When playing music data from an SD card, the LCD displays the rotation of cassette tape reels, reproducing the appearance of an original cassette tape. This provides the surprise of as if playing a real cassette player.

・Independent R/L Channel Volume
It adopts a 2x2 way ALPS sliding analog volume controller, which maintains the purity of the original sound source compared to electronic volume. The left and right volumes can be adjusted independently, allowing optimization for the user's stereo image. It can be used not only for stereo sound sources but also for pseudo-spatial representation of mono sound sources. Independent left and right analog controls provide pure sound with extremely low electromagnetic noise interference.

・Equipped with ES9038PRO, often used in stationary audio equipment
Internally, it uses the ES9038PRO DAC chip from ESS Technology, which is persistently popular for its high versatility and fidelity in conversion processing. It also uses the ultra-low noise OPA1612 op-amp chip, which has good characteristic compatibility, providing highly transparent sound that achieves a high level of balance between delicacy and dynamics.

・4.4mm Balanced Playback Support
The headphone amplifier achieves the best sound quality and performance with one 4.4mm balanced output and two single-ended outputs through a completely independent electrical circuit design. It has a low noise floor and demonstrates the ability to capture subtle nuances of sound, especially when playing high-resolution audio sources.
The two single-ended outputs have a dedicated optimized circuit design, realizing pure and powerful sound quality even with earphones or headphones that cannot be connected balanced. It is also possible for two people to monitor simultaneously.

・Digital Output from USB Port
Outputs high-quality audio signals via the USB port. By connecting to a decoder using a TYPE-C OTG cable, it decodes the audio source and supports high-resolution audio playback up to DSD256 (DoP) and PCM 192kHz/24Bit. This faithfully reproduces the delicate details and expansive sound field of high-resolution and DSD audio sources. Furthermore, it features a function to convert to an S/PDIF output cable via the TYPE-C port, allowing connection to decoders or DACs with coaxial input. Even devices that do not support USB audio output can use S/PDIF signals to enable high-quality digital audio playback while ensuring compatibility.
