The DAC section of EvoOne employs a parallel differential DAC configuration built around two AK4191EQ chips and four AK4499EXEQ chips from AKM. This module boasts extremely high performance metrics and faithfully reproduces musical signals with high fidelity. To ensure every drop of its full potential is channeled solely into enhancing signal purity, we designed our own I/V conversion as the starting point.
Each AK4499EXEQ operates in MONO mode, ensuring thorough full-balanced transmission. The current output signal extracted from these is then passed to our proprietary 8-channel independent I/V conversion stage, comparable to those found in high-end stationary units. By segmenting the signal and processing it in parallel, noise is canceled out, and an extremely accurate audio signal is rectified for the subsequent LPF, Buffer, and fully symmetrical discrete amplification stages. While large-scale and seemingly inefficient, such a thorough design is necessary to eliminate any loss and provide listeners with overwhelming resolution, dynamic range, and even the emotional nuances of a performance.

To achieve this, the EvoOne employs a circuit design and manufacturing process that can be described as the pinnacle of fully discrete amplification, providing the best linear amplification state.
The EvoOne's amplification circuit consists of three stages: a JFET dual input stage, and transistor-based driver and output stages, all designed with a fully symmetrical structure. To realize this full differential circuit, which uses identical circuits to individually amplify the positive and negative half-cycles of the signal, a large number of JFETs and transistors are carefully tested and measured over time. Only components with perfectly matched electrical characteristics are rigorously paired and integrated into the same unit. In addition, by combining full discrete, high-linearity topology across all stages with engineering such as independent ultra-low noise power supplies for each stage, ultra-low ESR filtering, DC servo, and strict temperature control design, distortion and noise are suppressed from their source. 「Ti」
The goal of the Ti version was to combine precise signal transmission with high shielding, while leveraging the lightweight, high rigidity, and stable mechanical properties of titanium. EvoAria recognized that the physical properties of Ti have a unique impact on the circuit's operating environment, and based on this premise, the PCB layout was designed specifically for it. Aerospace-grade TC4 titanium alloy is used for the exterior. Through precise CNC machining and a high-quality PVD finish, this material, which boasts high strength, lightness, and long-term durability, is finished with a refined and sophisticated silver-white texture.
The internal circuit employs a 1-layer HDI board structure, with blind via technology to shorten power paths. A large area of continuous ground planes is secured within the multilayer board, and digital and analog signals are appropriately separated in the inner layers to suppress interference while supporting high signal purity.
Furthermore, the analog differential amplification circuit adopts a "perfectly isometric and proportional design." By meticulously routing all paths, from signal lines to power and ground, with perfect isometric and proportional lengths, phase distortion is completely suppressed. The Ti version is a specialized specification for achieving extremely stable signal transmission and precise expression within a lightweight and highly rigid housing. 「Cu」
The aim of the Cu version was to actively integrate the high conductivity and electromagnetic shielding properties of copper-based materials into the circuit's operating environment itself, rather than merely treating them as an exterior texture. EvoAria recognized that the material characteristics of Cu offer unique advantages for signal flow and noise countermeasures, and accordingly, the PCB layout was specifically reconfigured on this premise.
High-purity brass with high conductivity and rigidity is used for the exterior. By functioning as both a robust structural body and a grounded electromagnetic shield, it forms a low-impedance path, supporting a stable reference potential.
The internal circuit adopts an 8-layer through-hole board, with optimized placement of ground vias. By forming a closed-loop structure that prevents noise currents originating from digital audio signals and clock signals from lingering on the board and instead guides them to the ground via the housing, interference from digital circuits to analog circuits is suppressed, supporting a low-noise and well-ordered signal environment. Furthermore, in the design of analog signals, impedance control through gold plating is adopted to fully utilize the extremely low impedance paths, thereby achieving extremely excellent dynamic response.
The Cu version is a specialized specification that utilizes the electrical properties of the material as part of the circuit, achieving a deeply silent background and unblemished dynamics. It ensures usability such as the installation of most apps and screen rotation. Featuring the top-tier Qualcomm QCS8550 SoC, it comes equipped with 16GB of memory and 512GB of internal storage. Even with large 6-inch FHD+ (2160x1080) graphics, environments running multiple applications simultaneously, and operation scenes with high processing loads, the system always operates stably and smoothly. Its computing performance and ample system resources provide the audio system with an execution environment that maintains low load, high timing stability, and data integrity at all times, enabling clear and faithful sound reproduction. 【Line Grill Structure Combining Heat Dissipation Performance with Usability】
For portable devices operating at high output, ensuring sufficient heat dissipation within a limited chassis size is essential. The line and grill structure on the sides of the EvoOne was designed to address this challenge. While providing a stable grip by conforming naturally to the hand, it also expands the effective heat dissipation area by approximately 27%, efficiently releasing heat even under high loads.
For the NuTube window, a restrained expression was adopted to avoid revealing too much of the internal components. When hybrid drive is activated, the glow of the vacuum tube can be faintly glimpsed through the side grill and openings, creating a visual experience unique to the EvoOne that balances both functionality and aesthetic design.
Internally, heat is efficiently transferred to the internal frame and external chassis via Panasonic-made graphene-based thermal conductive material. This supports the temperature environment required for stable operation of the Class A and Class AB discrete amplification circuits, and also ensures reliability during continuous use. Copper plates tend to feel hotter due to their high thermal conductivity, but both titanium and copper plates have undergone rigorous testing to ensure stable operation within safe operating temperature ranges. Heat dissipation design is not just about releasing heat; it is also a crucial foundation for enabling circuits to operate stably within appropriate temperature ranges and for refining the nuances of sound.

【Vacuum Tube-Specific Silicon Vibration Isolation Structure】
Vibration countermeasures are as crucial as circuit design when incorporating vacuum tube circuits into portable devices. This unit employs a vibration isolation structure that protects the entire vacuum tube stage by enveloping it in a dedicated silicon material. This suppresses microphonic effects caused by external vibrations, aiming to improve operational stability and signal purity, which is fundamental to delicate expression.

【Three-Dimensional Heat Dissipation Structure】
To maintain stable performance in a limited internal space, it is crucial to efficiently receive heat from each heat source and diffuse it evenly.
By adopting an aluminum alloy structural frame as the core of the heat dissipation system and combining it with graphite heat dissipation sheets, thermally conductive adhesive, and nickel-plated copper components, a highly efficient heat dissipation module is constructed. This three-dimensional heat dissipation structure enables rapid heat diffusion, optimizing the overall system's temperature balance. This significantly enhances cooling efficiency, ensuring long-term stable operation and maintaining unwavering high performance even in demanding playback environments.

【Triple Chamber Internal Structure】
Within a portable device, disparate elements such as power supply, amplification, and vacuum tube circuits coexist in high density. To achieve high playback quality, it is crucial not only to mount them in close proximity but also to suppress mutual interference. The EvoOne employs a triple chamber structure that separates the battery, vacuum tube circuit, and main circuit into independent compartments. By isolating interference factors at the hardware level, unwanted noise propagation is suppressed, and signal purity is enhanced.
This physical isolation design is not merely for reducing noise. EvoOne supports a variety of digital audio outputs, including USB Audio, S/PDIF, and I²S. USB Audio supports bi-directional transmission, and USB Audio output supports up to PCM768kHz and DSD512.

The shared Line Out and Pre-Out design achieves both flexible connectivity and high signal purity. Switching between the triple analog audio architectures also allows for selection of preferred sound characteristics. EvoOne doesn't compromise on wireless communication either, in addition to wired connections. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3, and various codecs from UAT to SBC. 【Equipped with DC Mode: Consideration for Built-in Battery Lifespan】
It features a dedicated battery bypass function that considers the battery load during prolonged use. When an external DC power source, such as a PD charger, is connected and an input of 9V or higher is recognized, you can switch to DC Mode from the system screen.
When DC Mode is activated, the device is directly powered by the external power source without going through the battery. This design allows for stable continuous operation while reducing repeated charging and discharging, ensuring long-term battery protection and improved practicality, as well as a more stable playback environment.

1. 起動直後のチャンネル出力について

電源投入後、ごく稀に左チャンネルから音が出ない、または左チャンネルの音量が右チャンネルより小さくなる場合があります。
本事象が発生した場合は、本体を再起動することで正常な状態に復帰します。

2. PO/LO切替時の出力レベルについて

PO(ヘッドホン出力)とLO(ライン出力)を繰り返し切り替えた際、Non-NFBモードでは、ごく稀に左チャンネルの出力レベルが右チャンネルより数dB高くなる場合があります。
なお、本事象はNFBモードでは発生しません。発生した場合はPOとLOを再度切り替えることで正常な状態に戻ります。

3. 再生中の瞬間的なノイズについて

音楽を連続再生中、ごく稀に「チッ」「ポッ」といった非常に短いノイズが発生する場合があります。現在のところ、音源ファイルの種類、ローカル再生/ストリーミング再生のいずれとも関係なく、発生条件の確認ができておりません。発生頻度にも一定の傾向はなく、数時間まったく発生しない場合もあれば、1時間の間に2〜3回発生する場合もあります。

今後も原因の解析および改善に向けた検証を継続し、進展があり次第ファームウェアアップデートなどを通じてご案内いたします。

EvoOneは大電流駆動を前提とした設計のため、一般的なポータブルプレーヤーと比較して消費電力が高く、本体温度も高くなる場合があります。ご使用の際は、本体周囲に十分な放熱スペースを確保してください。別売りのスタンド「DS ONE」など放熱に優れた環境を推奨いたします。

また、ヘッドホンを接続した状態で音楽を再生しながら充電することはお控えください。本体温度が設定された保護温度に達した場合は、充電保護機能により充電を自動的に停止します。さらに、本体温度が保護温度の上限に達した場合は、安全性を最優先するため、再生も自動的に停止します。

EvoOne Cuの外装は、素材特有の質感や経年変化をお楽しみいただける仕上げとなっております。Cuモデルはその特性上、Tiモデルよりも傷が付きやすい傾向があります。日々の使用によるわずかな風合いの変化も含めて、ヴィンテージ仕上げならではの表情としてお楽しみ頂けたら幸いです。
表面には保護用のウレタンコーティングを施しておりますが、コーティング自体は比較的柔らかいため、傷や擦れを完全に防ぐものではございません。プラグや鍵などの硬い物との接触や、日常使用に伴う摩擦により、表面に細かな傷や跡が生じる場合があります。
お手入れの際は、アルコールシート、研磨剤、金属磨き剤などのご使用はお控えください。汚れや皮脂が気になる場合は、乾いた柔らかい布で優しく拭き取ってください。
