NiPO (pronounced "Lie-po") is an audio brand established in Shenzhen, China in September 2019. Founder Lao Huang is an engineer with over 30 years of experience in the audio industry, having been involved in the design of audio products for global brands like AIWA and PHILIPS since 1998.
NiPO's first model, the N1 DAP, received high praise and sold out immediately upon its release. Building on that success, the N2, a next-generation flagship model developed over four years, has achieved further evolution in both sound quality and design philosophy.

The "Current Mirror I/V conversion" current mirror amplifier is an innovative technology uniquely developed for N2. Through a precisely designed transistor array, it achieves unprecedented accurate current transmission, thoroughly eliminating distortion and noise generation, and even reproduces unique sound nuances. The shortest audio transmission path, setting it apart from existing products, minimizes sound distortion. Each note of music resonates clearly and neutrally, expressing the original rich harmonics and delicate dynamics of the sound source, thus maximizing the charm of the music.
"Digital Resistance Volume Control"
Through over 100 uncompromising development iterations, we have perfected our unique, fully isolated resistance matrix. This elevates precision in volume control to a new level, reproducing even the most subtle sound nuances without compromise, while maintaining consistent sound quality across the entire frequency range.
The fully discrete amplifier circuit uses 8 pairs of 6A super-linear complementary transistors, boasting astonishing pairing precision and current supply capability. Similar to many high-end amplifier products that use high-output parallel-connected transistors in the output stage, it achieves a sufficiently low collector-emitter saturation voltage VCE(sat) to clearly express the musical layers and momentary details even with a large dynamic range. Especially for low-sensitivity earphones and models employing multi-BA drivers, when playing music with a large dynamic range, the impedance can momentarily drop sharply, causing instantaneous distortion or muddiness in the sound. To address this, an improved non-feedback amplification architecture eliminates the phase shifts and transient intermodulation distortion brought about by conventional feedback mechanisms. Even with difficult-to-drive earphones, it dynamically and naturally reproduces all musical expressions, from delicate pianissimo to powerful forte.
The Sonic Transparency Achieved Through Innovative Current Control Technology
We have thoroughly improved the quality of the power supply, which forms the foundation of sound quality, by implementing power supply noise countermeasures and optimizing dynamic internal resistance. In addition to a power supply design featuring high linearity, low noise, and low impedance, we have adopted a multi-stage filtering structure to effectively suppress power ripple and noise interference across a wide frequency range from 1Hz to 100kHz. Furthermore, the device is equipped with technology to dynamically optimize power supply impedance, utilizing proprietary remote feedback technology to monitor load conditions in real-time. This allows us to adjust the power supply's response speed accordingly. This design significantly reduces losses and intermodulation distortion in the power path, enabling the reproduction of even sudden loud sounds and sharp attacks with ample headroom. It achieves stable musical expression across all frequency ranges, from powerful bass to delicate and smooth treble, reproducing every detail with clarity. Sound details are vividly reproduced, emphasizing their three-dimensionality.

The NDK 88fs low-phase noise dual crystal oscillator, installed in the N2, is designed to maximize the timing precision of digital audio sources. Its low-phase noise characteristics suppress signal fluctuations, faithfully reproducing the depth and dimensionality of music. Excellent acoustic simulation enhances the immersive experience.
Proprietary high-density, high-precision, high-quality audio circuit board
By utilizing 10-layer HDI technology for PCB shield design and an all-discrete analog circuit, we have dramatically improved noise suppression performance and signal stability, which are fundamental to sound quality.
The high-density and precise board structure thoroughly eliminates stray interference. Furthermore, by separating each module with independent shielding, we prevent crosstalk and signal interference.
The ultra-low noise (1.3µV @ 2Vrms) design provides a silent background for sound. Subtle nuances in sound are faithfully reproduced, allowing you to enjoy unprecedented transparency in instrument and vocal details.
Maximizing physical space without compromising comfortable portability. By isolating each module, we ensured the purity of signal lines, thoroughly eliminating crosstalk and interference. Furthermore, we adopted single-point grounding technology for the PCB, consistently suppressing potential differences across the entire circuit. This reduces crosstalk and noise interference between signals caused by common impedance, significantly enhancing the quietness and transparency of music playback. Not only that, but we achieved performance comparable to a device equipped with a standard 5-cell lithium battery. The fusion of physical structure and advanced grounding design delivers stable performance across all frequency ranges, from deep bass that transcends physical limitations to real, fading highs.
